Prestige Underwriting Inspections, a  Regional company conducting hi-value residential inspections for insurance companies in the Mid-Atlantic States and portions of the Northeastern States, is seeking qualified candidates to interview for the position of Field Inspector. The successful candidate will work from home and must reside in the general vicinity of the New York metropolitan area. The primary responsibility of the position will be to conduct approximately 9 hi-value inspections per week within the territory. These inspections will typically be geared toward residential dwellings exceeding replacement value thresholds of $1,000,000. The usual work week consists of 3 days in the field conducting on-site inspections, and the balance of the work week dedicated to report generation. Requirements – Industry Related
® Minimum of 1 year of general industry-related inspection experience
® Proficiency measuring houses or structures
® Proficiency with Apex drawing software
® Exposure to replacement cost calculation processes
® General knowledge of building materials & components
® General knowledge at identifying hazards
® General computer knowledge

® Resides within territory
® Owns a recent model vehicle in good condition that presents a professional image
® Can provide proof of adequate automobile insurance
® Possesses a good driving record
® Can pass a background check (paid for by the company)
